This presentations is of the artists Edward Hopper (1882-1967). He was a famous American realist artist during the 1900's that made many paintings that expressed the moods of the 20th century. During this presentation I gained inspiration from Hopper's paintings of Nighthawks, Night Windows, and Automat. All 3 of those works led to my two-point perspective of a building with windows. I myself did not personally like the end product but it did help me get introduced to one and two point perspectives. If done again I would rather use shading rather than paint when filling in the building and I would have tried a bit more to put a person in.
