Surreal Images
Another one of my room surreal photos like the boat one. The only difference being that this one is completely original and was not based off of a tutorial. It was created just like my boat one by distorting the picture. I then distorted the base boards and the wood floor to make it look like a room. I then took a boy, a controller, and an outlet as an added effect. Shadows had to be added to some of the pictures as well. This surreal image holds a greater meaning though. It symbolizes the violence in video games and how children are being exposed to this war-like violence as shown by the game controller, the boy, and the war wallpaper.
This was another surreal image or a glitch image. I took the idea of a room and made a room of static. In the center of the room I put this rainbow type object. This was not made for the class and I merely did this for fun and out of my own amusement. I personally like this photo that I made.
Forced Perspective
A forced perspective picture is when a picture is taken with an optical illusion embedded within it to make something seem smaller, bigger, farther, or closer than it really is. In this one, I had the idea of taking a white crayon and raising it up to the sky where a vapor stream from jets were. This would make it look like someone was drawing in the sky with the crayon. Unfortunately, due to limited time and a failure of my camera to focus on both the crayon and vapor stream, I was unable to take the picture. Therefore, I had to separately use a picture of a hand holding a crayon, and the vapor stream in photoshop to create this picture.
