Perspective photos like this one-point perspective was first discovered in the renaissance. Before this was discovered, the perspectives were messed up and did not look very realistic but this revolutionized the perspective photos. One-point perspective works by adding a point on a horizon line in your paper and making every horizontal line in your photo go to that point except the vertical lines. Although
This presentations is of the artists Edward Hopper (1882-1967). He was a famous American realist artist during the 1900's that made many paintings that expressed the moods of the 20th century. During this presentation I gained inspiration from Hopper's paintings of Nighthawks, Night Windows, and Automat. All 3 of those works led to my two-point perspective of a building with windows. I myself did not personally like the end product but it did help me get introduced to one and two point perspectives. If done again I would rather use shading rather than paint when filling in the building and I would have tried a bit more to put a person in.
